Toyota Gazoo Racing has revealed the production version of the Supra GT4 race car, set to compete in various championships in 2020. Based on the Supra GT4 concept revealed at the Geneva motor show in March, the production race car forms part of Toyota’s efforts to “strengthen its focus on customer motorsports”. GT4 cars are much closer to the road cars they’re based on compared to other GT classes, making them more affordable and therefore more accessible to private race teams.
