Fiat Chrysler Australia has recalled the 2010 Jeep Cherokee over concerns about the brake pedal linkage clip. According to the company, the car might be fitted with an incorrectly-manufactured brake pedal clip, which could make the brake booster input rod detach from the brake pedal. If the brake booster detaches from the pedal, the car could lose its brakes, increasing the risk of injury or accident to the driver and other road users.
