Gordon Murray Design (GMD) has unveiled the latest iteration of its iStream chassis, dubbed Superlight. The system promises to reduce "vehicle body weight by up to 50 per cent" compared to conventional construction methods, thanks to the combination of a high-strength aluminium frame and carbon-fibre composite panels.
