2017 New York motor show: What to expect

new-york-motor-show_what-to-expect

The New York International Auto Show, although not the largest in the world – or even in the United States – lays claim to being one of the world’s oldest automobile exhibitions.

First opening its doors in 1900, the New York motor show is beaten only by its Paris (1898) and Frankfurt (1897) counterparts, two of the largest in the world.

World debuts in recent years have included the new Mercedes-AMG E43, Jaguar XF, Ford Focus RS, Alfa Romeo 4C, Subaru WRX concept, and the Genesis New York concept – among many, many others.

This year’s list of confirmed world premieres is small, although we can likely expect the list to grow before the show opens to the press on April 14.

See below for the full list as it currently stands, and stay tuned for CarAdvice’s live coverage, straight from New York.
