The wagon version of the new Peugeot 308 has received a specification upgrade for the new model year, with no change to prices.
The 2023 Peugeot 308 GT Premium wagon has gained equipment in a model-year update alongside the arrival of a new plug-in hybrid hatchback flagship.
For Model Year 2023 (MY23) the 308 GT Premium wagon gains the 10-speaker Focal premium sound system already fitted to the GT Premium hatch – replacing the six-speaker unbranded stereo shared with Peugeot’s entry-level 308 GT hatch.
There has been no price increase to accompany the change, retaining its $50,490 plus on-road costs list price – or $2500 more than the GT Premium hatch.
However, the two-position floor in the 308 wagon has been deleted to accommodate the subwoofer, a Peugeot Citroen Australia spokesperson confirmed to Drive.
The 308 GT Premium wagon is now the second-most expensive variant in Peugeot’s small-car range, below the just-launched GT Sport Plug-in Hybrid, priced from $64,990 plus on-road costs.
