The Nissan Pathfinder family SUV has received a price rise four months after the new model arrived in showrooms – and the model range was more than halved a few weeks ago.
Prices have risen across the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder range by up to $1460 – four months after arriving in showrooms in November 2022 – as the model line-up is slashed from five variants to two.
As reported last month, three of the five models in the Nissan Pathfinder large SUV line-up have been deleted to focus on the two most popular and profitable models, amid stock restrictions.
Nissan Australia has now confirmed the two remaining variants have received price rises to accompany the change, as part of a Model Year 2023 update which adds walk-away locking and a “new FOB key” to both models.
The Nissan Pathfinder Ti all-wheel drive (AWD) increases by $1460 to $71,490 plus on-road costs, while the Ti-L AWD rises by $1263 to $81,490 plus on-road costs.

These compound price increases across the new Pathfinder line-up when it arrived in showrooms last year, of $10,890 for the Ti AWD and $13,087 for the Ti-L AWD.
Prior to the price increases – and trimming of the model range – the entry price to the Nissan Pathfinder was $54,190 plus on-road costs, up from $44,240 plus on-road costs when the previous-generation model left showrooms two years ago.
