Previewed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the trailer is a mix of footage from the movie as well as video clips shot behind-the-scenes, while some of the main actors provide some commentary on the upcoming film.
The same technology used to shoot the recent Top Gun was used in Gran Turismo, including cameras that can have the main sensor and lens separated from the body, allowing for scenes to be captured in high definition within the tiny cabins of race cars such as Le Mans prototypes.
Gran Turismo is due to be released in Australian cinemas on Thursday 10 August 2023.
