2016 Peugeot 4008 recalled with parking brake fault

Inchcape Automotive – the Australian distributor for Citroen, Peugeot, and Subaru – has recalled 22 examples of the 2016 Peugeot 4008, citing a potential fault with the SUVs parking brake assembly. The affected vehicles were sold between 20 May and 27 May 2016. The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says: “There may be insufficient engagement of the parking brake, due to excessive internal tolerances of the rear brake calipers.”
