Mercedes-Benz trademarks EQG name for electric G-Class

Mercedes-Benz has trademarked a set of names with the European Union Intellectual Property Office for the upcoming all-electric variant of its G-Class four-wheel drive. The German manufacturer has now officially registered the nameplates ‘EQG 580’ and ‘EQG 560', as discovered by The Drive.
