German carmaker Porsche neutered the once great Cayenne GTS, stripping it of its 4.8-litre V8 heart and soul, and replacing it in 2015 with a 3.6-litre twin-turbo V6. Sure, the new V6 was more powerful than its V8 predecessor, but it lacked the personality of the older V8, castrating what was once a theatrical response to the idea of a performance SUV.
