With just over two months from the scheduled date for the 2021 Rolex Australian Formula One Grand Prix, reports suggest the event will be postponed. According to UK motorsport publication Autosport, the opening round of the F1 calendar at the Albert Park street circuit in Melbourne won't proceed as planned. In early December 2020, Mercedes F1 team boss Toto Wolff raised concerns about Melbourne's strict two-week quarantine rules, saying it is infeasible for race teams.
