Next VW Amarok ‘not a rebadged Ford Ranger’, due in 2023

The next Volkswagen Amarok will not be in Australian showrooms until early 2023 – about 18 months after its twin under the skin, the new Ford Ranger goes on sale in the second half of 2021. And the company insists the new Amarok will have “Volkswagen DNA” even though it is likely to be powered by Ford engines and built in a Ford factory.
