2020 Audi Q5 recalled for welding fault

Audi Australia has issued a recall on eight examples of its Q5 SUV, citing incorrect welding. The affected vehicles were sold between June and July, 2020 (MY2020). The recall notice, lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), says “due to incorrect welding, the gap on the adjusting mechanism for the backrest of the front seats may be faulty”.
