2021 Mazda MX-30 EV primed for local release, government docs reveal

The 2021 Mazda MX-30 is all but confirmed for Australia, after documents revealed the model has been approved by the Federal Government's car certification body. The Road Vehicle Certification System (RVCS) website published a letter dated 19 October 2020, stating Mazda's application for the MX-30 had received the green light. While the small SUV has not yet been announced locally, gaining approval from RVCS is one of the many steps manufacturers must take prior to launching a new model.
