Ferrari slams the brakes on an electric supercar

Ferrari has poured cold water on the idea of a pure electric supercar, claiming current battery technology is good enough. The bold statement comes despite a number of rival brands planning to release electric supercars in the near future. In an interview with UK magazine AutoCar, Ferrari’s chief marketing and commercial officer Enrico Galliera said suitable battery technology is more than five years away.
