Audi A8 recalled for power steering leak, potential fire hazard

Audi Australia has issued a recall of 108 of its flagship luxury A8 sedan models affected by a faulty steering component. Audi's recall includes the 2010-2013 A8 4H fitted with the petrol V8 or W12, and the 2012-2016 A8 Security (an armoured version of a regular A8 intended for civilian security) fitted with the petrol V8 or W12. Lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), the defect pertains to a fluid return hose in the vehicles’ power steering system.
