2018-2019 Isuzu D-Max crew cab recalled due to potential suspension failure

Isuzu Australia has issued a recall of 2323 of its D-Max utility vehicles affected by a faulty suspension component. The issue extends to model-year 2018-2019 D-Max crew cabs sold between 27 January 2018 to 28 February 2020. Lodged with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), the defect relates to a rear leaf spring that may fracture due to “insufficient diameter of the front eye”. The front eye is a crucial component in fixing the vehicle’s suspension to its chassis.
