Honda to end diesel car sales in Europe by 2021

Honda will stop selling cars with diesel engines in Europe by 2021 with the company's range of vehicles there to be dominated by electrified drivetrains. The automaker confirmed to Reuters it will cease selling diesel-powered vehicles by the 2021. The timing of diesel's demise for Honda's European operations coincides with the closure of its UK manufacturing plant.
