De Tomaso P72 unveiled

The De Tomaso P72 has been unveiled at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Although the new car has been named in honour of the 1965 P70 racing car, the P72 has a modern carbon-fibre chassis borrowed from the Apollo IE. Both Apollo and De Tomaso were brought together under common ownership in 2014. The company says the P72's design "focuses on [bringing the] timeless beauty and timeless proportions of the ’60s Le Mans prototype vehicles into the modern era".
