2007 Jeep Compass and Dodge Caliber recalled

Fiat Chrysler Australia has recalled the 2007 Jeep Compass and Dodge Caliber, over concerns about the rear wheel hub mounting bolts. According to the company, the length of the rear wheel hub mounting bolts could prevent the use of the parking brake. Being unable to activate the parking brake could allow the car to roll away in certain conditions, putting occupants, pedestrians and other road users at risk. A total of 20 cars are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.
