Audi Sport has announced the S5 TDI in both coupe and four-door Sportback forms for the European market, bringing diesel power to the nameplate for the first time. Like the new S6 and S7 models revealed a fortnight ago, the S5 TDI draws upon a 48V mild hybrid-assisted 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel, making 255kW and 700Nm – the latter available between 2500 and 3100rpm.
