Nissan Australia has announced pricing information for the hotly-anticipated Leaf electric vehicle, which will (finally) arrive in August. Pricing will kick off at $49,990 before on-road costs, with pre-orders officially open. Power comes from an electric motor on the front axle making 110kW and 320Nm, hooked up to a 40kWh battery pack for a claimed 270km of range on the WLTP test cycle.
