2019 Mercedes-AMG GT R Roadster revealed

Mercedes-AMG has revealed the limited-edition GT R Roadster, blending the track-focused nature of the GT R coupe with the thrills of open-top motoring. Just 750 examples will be produced, with power coming from the same 430kW/700Nm 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 as the GT R coupe. The company claims the drop-top GT R can hit 100km/h from a standstill in just 3.6 seconds (the same as the coupe), on its way to a top speed of 317km/h – just 1km/h shy of the coupe's vmax.
