Nissan cancels UK production plans for next-gen X-Trail - report

Nissan will not continue building the next-generation X-Trail SUV at its Sunderland plant in the UK, blaming "uncertainty" surrounding Britain's impending exit from the European Union. First reported by industry journal Automotive News Europe, the manufacturer will only build the next-gen crossover in Japan, making its home country the global production hub for its top-selling SUV model.
