2018 Hyundai Kona recalled

Hyundai Australia has issued a recall for turbocharged versions of the 2018 Kona crossover over concerns vehicles could experience compromised brake performance. The Korean brand reports a manufacturing issue may have caused the front brake tube to have been fitted incorrectly, which could come into contact with the exhaust system. Over time the brake line can be squashed or ruptured with prolonged contact, which Hyundai says will result in poor brake performance or even brake failure.
