Opel Insignia gains 147kW turbo petrol option, not for Oz

Opel has expanded the powertrain line-up for its mid-sized Insignia line-up, adding the 147kW 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine from the smaller Astra. Available on all three body styles – Grand Sport (liftback), Sports Tourer (wagon) and Country Tourer (crossover wagon) – the new petrol option is available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic, exclusively sending drive to the front wheels.
