Aston Martin and Red Bull keen to enter new car in Le Mans 24 Hour

Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing are keen to enter their upcoming hypercar project in the 24 Hour of Le Mans race. The Automobile Club de l'Ouest, organisers of the race, and the FIA have proposed a new classification, which will allow road-going hypercars and concept cars with hybrid drivetrains to take part. Set to come into effect for the 2020/21 season, the new rules aim to slash entry costs to a quarter of their present amount, and prioritise aesthetics over aerodynamics.
