Range Rover 'L322' added to Takata recall

Jaguar Land Rover Australia has added 1088 Range Rover 'L322' models to the ever-expanding Takata airbag recall. As with all Takata-related recalls, a combination of heat and humidity can make the airbag propellant degrade over time. If a car with an affected airbag is involved in an accident, the metal inflator can rupture or explode under the pressure, sending metal fragments shooting into the cabin. A total of 1088 Range Rovers are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.
