The Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo has smashed the long-running lap record at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, posting a time of 5 minutes 19.55 seconds. Driven by Timo Bernhard, the 919 Hybrid Evo managed an average speed of 233.8km/h, and bested the previous 1983 record set by Stefan Bellof in a Porsche 956 C by a whole 51.58 seconds. To top off the big numbers, Bernhard hit a top speed of 369.4km/h during his record-beating run.
