Kia hits 500,000 sales in Australia

Kia Australia is celebrating 500,000 sales Down Under, three decades after selling its first vehicle. Just 60 people bought a Kia when the brand first launched locally in 1988. Local sales had increased to 12,524 by 1998, and by 2008 cumulative sales Down Under had reached 180,829. Fast forward to 2018, and Kia Australia is on track for another record sales year, posting 10.4 per cent growth year-to-date (YTD) as of the end of May.
