Audi A4, A5, A6, A7 and Q5 recalled

Audi Australia has issued a recall notice for A4, A5, A6, A7 and Q5 models manufactured between January 2011 and March 2017 fitted with the 2.0-litre TFSI engine.  According to the German marque, moisture could find its way into electric components and cause overheating, or failure of the coolant pump. The issue can also lead to smoulder damage which, in some cases, could cause the car to catch fire. Audi has confirmed 96 units are affected – a VIN list is attached here.
