Images of and details about the Toyota LandCruiser Prado facelift have found their way online.

A tipster has pointed us in the direction of Instagram user hamad1two3, who earlier today posted two sets of photos, which seem to be low resolution copies of a Japanese brochure showing the updated LandCruiser Prado.

If these images are accurate, the updated Prado will feature a redesigned front-end, complete with a new bonnet, grille, headlights, and a more aggressive bumper treatment.

At the rear, there are new graphics for the tail-lights, and a lightly redesigned bumper.

On the inside, the centre section of the dashboard has been extensively reworked with plenty of silver plastic and piano black trim, and redesigned controls for the air conditioning unit and infotainment system. There’s also a revised look for the instrument panel.

According to a report surfaced by Indian Autos Blog, the updated LandCruiser Prado will make its debut in Japan on September 12.

For the Japanese market, the revised Prado will feature standard LED headlamps and the Toyota Safety Sense-P package, which includes automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assistance, automatic high beams, and radar-guided cruise control.

A new steering wheel, taken from the Toyota Crown, and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment and navigation system will be available.

The current-generation LandCruiser Prado made its debut back in 2009, and was given a facelift in 2013.
